“To have breakfast.”
“You’re too lazy now to make your own breakfast?”
“No, I just can’t be bothered to make yours.”
“Don’t dish it out if you can’t take it!” I smiled as we walked into Niederegger’s. Pomi peeped out of the bag.
“Wow, what is this place! Candy heaven?”
“It’s not candy darling, it is marzipan.”
“In all shapes and sizes. But I don’t like marzipan for breakfast.”
“Neither do I. We are going upstairs. To the café!”
My little crochet guy chose the continental breakfast: bread roll, croissant, two kinds of jam, butter, honey and one cup of perfect coffee.
“I want the croissant.” Pomi announced. “You can have the rest.”
“And? What do you say? How did you like breakfast at Niederegger’s?”
“We have to come back for the cakes but breakfast was delicious.”
Pomi was very quiet for the rest of the day.
“Anything the matter?”
“Nidderegger’s is such a beautiful place. But one thing bothered me. ”
“What was that?”
“All the waitresses were wearing ugly shoes.”
Omigod, lucky Pomi. I want those cakes! 🙂
I am sure you do!!! Pomi and I are going to go there again soon and we will think about you for sure when we choose our cake :-).
‘Candy Heaven’ – I also would like to have my breakfast there (and more). Could I jump into your bag and accompany Pomi? … 🙂 mjam, I just imagine to taste the mazipan. Oh my god! To what place did you move … *rofl*
Isnt’ it lovely? Next week Pomi and I are going for some cake :-).
O my God! I remember as I was in December 2002 in this cafe, that time when I was in the hospital north of Hamburg. For candy lovers there is a dream! For me, too many people.I had to laugh at Pomis comment to the shoes of the waitresses? Health shoes?
Yes, exactly, comfy but Pomi was right, those shoes did not go well with the skirts those ladies were wearing :-).
