Letters and Friends

῝Look, we’ve got mail. There was this letter in our Briefkasten today. Our first letter here in Lübeck.῝

“Who is it from?”

“Our friend Gabi.”

“Really? Can I open it?” Pomi took the envelope, tore it open and peeped inside.

 

 

 

 

 

“A card and a book. That’s nice.”

 

 

 

 

 

Pomi flipped through the book and then went on to read the card.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Since when do you read German?”

 

 

“Who said that I do? “ He grinned.

 

 

 

“It’s wonderful to have friends.”
