Too Hot
” There you are. I’ve been looking all over for you!”
I found my little crochet guy lying in a makeshift hammock.
” Why? What do you want from me? ” Pomi turned towards me letting out an exhausted sigh.
” I was worried something had happened to you.”
” No need to worry. As you can see I am fine. I’m just trying to escape the heat. ”
” It will be another couple of days before this heat wave is over.” I explained.
” I’ll stay up here then and continue to watch your garden.
By the way ants are taking over again as we speak,” Pomi leaned back in the hammock and hands behind his head he gazed off.
The little crochet guy knows how to live!! A hammock, a canopy of flowers, swaying gently in the shade — just perfect. You’ve evoked the heat and a sense of place so skillfully with only a brief dialogue and some wonderful photos. 🙂
🙂 🙂 🙂 !!!
What a cozy place :-)I would like to swing in a hammock between flowers, too 🙂
It is lovely! Just the heat: unbearable 😦 !!!
Your little Pomi is my idea of what The Little Prince (Exupery’s, that is) looked like!
Charming, both of them.
Thank you. Pomi is smiling his biggest smile. Say ‘hi’ from me he grins :-).
